Privacy Policy

Effective October 24, 2026

Roers Legacy Law, a registered trade name of Legal Technology Services, PLLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy and takes our duty of confidentiality seriously. This policy explains what information we collect through legaltechnw.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you use our contact form or email us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, the topic you select, and your message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web host automatically records basic technical information in server logs when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time of your visit. These logs are used to operate and secure the Site.

Cookies, analytics, and tracking

The Site does not use cookies, advertising trackers, social media pixels, or third-party analytics. Our fonts and images are served from our own website, so your visit is not shared with outside services. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

Online scheduling

If you book a call through our scheduling link, you will be taken to Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. The information you enter there, such as your name, email address, and any answers you provide, is collected by Calendly and shared with us so we can hold the appointment. Calendly’s own privacy policy and cookie practices apply on its site.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule calls and consultations
  • To check for conflicts of interest before agreeing to represent anyone, as our professional rules require
  • To operate, maintain, and protect the Site
  • To comply with legal and professional obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party marketing.

Please don’t send confidential information

Submitting the contact form or emailing us does not create an attorney–client relationship, and information you send before we agree to represent you may not be treated as privileged or confidential. Please share only general information about your situation, and do not include health information, account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive details until we have agreed in writing to work together.

When we share information

We share information only as needed to run our practice and this Site, for example with our website host, email provider, and scheduling service, who process it on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or the Washington Rules of Professional Conduct, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

How we protect and keep information

The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, though no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We keep inquiries only as long as needed for the purposes above, including our conflict-checking and record-keeping obligations. Information about clients is governed by our engagement agreement and our professional duty of confidentiality.

Your choices

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you from the Site, to correct it, or to delete it, subject to our legal and professional record-keeping obligations. To make a request, email droers@legaltechnw.com.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our resources may mention or link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
